1940's style Jeans

I have finally finished my pair of jeans
that are made to look like the
high waisted pants of the 1940s era.
The original pattern is Butterick 5250
but I modified it so the front fastens with buttons not a zipper.
The pattern fit me perfectly and they
are so comfy they feel like pajamas!
The length is a little short for the trends
today, but I mostly plan to wear them with
flats or a small heel.
I am so glad not to have to worry
about muffin tops or anything else
hanging out, these cover everything up!!

  1. i am in love with this style! i feel like i should have been born in the forties! lol the clothes are so tailored and really make your body look look fab! love it!

  2. You are so talented. I just watched a movie last night set in the 20-30's and I thought about how cool the flapper look was! The jeans are very flattering on you- hate to see me in them, I would get more flak then Jessica Simpson in hers!

I love to get comments and have changed my settings so if you don't have an account you can still comment, but please let me know who you are by initials or name:)
