GF Congo Bars


Gluten Free Congo Bars

10 T. butter
2 c.brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. Mamas Almond Blend Flour
1 tsp. xantham gum
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2. tsp salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Blend butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs and vanilla 
and beat until blended. Add dry ingredients until well
mixed, stir in choc. chips and nuts.
Put into 9x13 greased pan.
Bake until very light brown, do not over bake!
Bake @ 350* for 20-22 minutes 

I only have one word to say about these...
YUM!!

  1. Maybe I'll have to make them for my dad then:) I think we need to get the xantham gum first, though!

  2. I will defintitely try this one. I was just thinking I could really use some good choc chip cookies ... I really oatmeal choc chip, ever try that ???? Faith
