Endings

I really need to do this...

but I don't like to give up on things.

 Sometimes you just have to let go

of the things that you promised 

you would never let go of.

This blog is one.

I thought before that I would write on here 

and take photos and love to share

forever, 

but now it has become a part of my life 

that I can no longer keep up with-

I have a store

I have a job

I have too much to do

So I have to let this go...

The other part of my life that has just ended 

is too painful to write about here...

It was a promise I made until death

but I had to let go...

doors close

doors open

The One who said

"I am the door" is the only One

who remains ever true and faithful

and who never breaks His promises.

That is how I want to end my blogging

years, with my hand on the Door.

Why I hardly have time to blog!

I sure have little time to

think up fun and interesting ideas

to blog about these days!

My space at Rusty Glamour has

been a huge blessing and success

for which I am so thankful.

However it keeps me very

busy finding product to upcycle

or re finish etc...

This is my garage...

finished product, the rest is all

yet to be dealt with!

So sorry, if I've been a boring blogger...

 life right now

has become immensely challenging

in many ways and my blog

is suffering from it.

But all is okay, right?

When God is in control

then why should we worry or fear?

until I found this one...

then of course everything has to get changed

so it will all go together, 

lots of fun and I love it!

Silver Challenge #2

My silver challenge was an experiment

with arranging some ephemera

around my blog pic and scanning it.

I'd like to work with this idea in

the new year so my blog looks

a little more like a scrapbook.

I think buying a program to do it with might

be a better idea, but not sure which one.

A Blog Rant

Good Morning Friends and Fellow Bloggers,

I have some thoughts I'd like to share...several of the blogs I follow or check frequently have had posts about some incredibly negative comments that people have left and it has made these bloggers feel so small and worthless. I am just appalled that anyone would take the time to leave a comment that would hurt someone that they don't even know! I feel like we are put on this earth to make others lives better, to encourage, to lift up, to boost them to a place to peace and beauty. When I leave a comment I think about what would make that blogger feel proud of what they are sharing with the world. It is just one more place to encourage and stregthen our friends whether we know them personally or not! Blogging has blessed me so much and I feel like God has shown me how incredibly creative His people are, whether they know Him or not, which just goes to show His love for the whole world...lets bless others...bring joy...leave a legacy of peace ...Thanks for listening!

"Artful Blogging" Surprise

You can imagine my surprise today when having purchased the newest "Artful Blogging" magazine, I opened it up to the Buzz page featuring readers comments and found a post I had done November 23rd! I had no idea a post of mine was in there and it sure is funny to read something and half way through realize you recognize it because you wrote it! New Look!

How do you all like my new blog look? I'm so excited to finally have gotten a little more of my personality into the page elements and in the process I've learned so much. I'm pretty proud to have figured it out all by myself too. Enjoy!

HELP for a new blogger

All right!!! I'm getting to mad at this blog...I get my whole thing laid out with pictures and all my blogging and then when I publish it the whole thing gets screwed up and doesn't look right.Like the words get seperated and the pictures out of line. Can someone tell me what to do?
