Letting My Mind Rest

Today I just needed to get away for
a few hours and not dwell on all
the last week wedding issues.
I also was in the mood for thinking about
FALL...
So I went for a short drive down to
the Pendleton Mill Store
and then browsed through
Camas Antiques before heading
back home.
I felt so refreshed and rested to just
be alone for awhile and not to really think at all.
You probably know by now that fall colors are my
all time favorite, esp. rust.
Notice the light above, fun look hey?
Check out the great idea for an old globe...
chalkboard paint!
And of course I always love
a retro tag on a plaid garment, that's a look I can
never bypass with my camera.
Hope all of you are enjoying the change of seasons
and getting out to do something fun when
you need a rest from life:)

  3. Karen, you've been in my thoughts and prayers this week ... praying God has given you a rest and peace as you trust your children into his care (fully knowing there is no other who loves them more than HE.) And praying for abundant blessings in their new life together!
